1 voteSorry, but normal apps cannot be float. It’s limitation of Android technology and even on Android’s 7 multitasking it is not possible.

We did not remove the ability. It’s still there. Just open My Apps and click plus button in the bottom right corner.

Could you please do screenshot function for floating app. Some device with case is not easy to press power button and down button.

Currently, we do not plan to use Material design in floating windows since we need to keep the size of control elements smaller than the Material design has. It may not be problem for you, but there are users with smaller screens.

The ability to view installed apps in a floating window.
Like Instagram, Snapchat, etc. If it can't be done without root. Can you guys create an add on or a standalone app which has these multitasking features?

Unclickable brower overlay option
I want to be able to pu browser on transparency and the activate a commando that makes the browser un clickable so i can move around and type stuffs behind it. Would make things alot easier.

Click and swipe through inactive windows to screen below. Double tap to make said window active again.
If a window can be transparent, it makes sence for one to also be able to click on what they can see beneath it. I think that this could be implemented a few ways, either what I formerly suggested in the title, or double tap to interact with screen bellow and then double tap back on window to interact with it again. Perhaps this could be a sort of "super inactive state" where the window becomes even further transparent (to alllow easier interaction with screen bellow and to help indicate it's "super inactive" status)
5 votesWe have carefully tested it and this cannot be implemented easily since we are currently unable to make just a part clickable through and part (header) to be still able to react to double taps.
